Fintech and SaaS require a different breed of publisher. How to find authority sites that build trust and drive high-LTV users.
Selling a $20 t-shirt is easy. Selling a mortgage, a credit card, or enterprise software is hard. The sales cycle is longer, and the user needs trust before they click.
This means your recruitment strategy cannot target generic "deal sites." You need "Authority Publishers."
These are experts, thought leaders, and reviewers whose audience hangs on their every word. Think NerdWallet for finance or G2/Capterra for software. But beyond the giants, there are thousands of niche experts.
In Fintech, saying the wrong thing gets you sued. Your recruitment and onboarding process must be strict.
SaaS and Fintech affiliates are sophisticated. They know the LTV of a customer is high. They won't work for a one-time $50 CPA.
The Golden Standard: 20-30% Recurring Revenue share for the first 12 months (or lifetime). This builds a passive income stream for the affiliate, aligning them perfectly with your retention goals. If the customer churns, they stop getting paid. They are now incentivized to find you good customers.
Recruiting in these verticals is quality over quantity. One right partner can drive millions in revenue. Focus on building deep, direct relationships with the few voices that matter in your space.
